Glad to finally be opening this site up to the public. After some months of planning and sorting out blog drama and host sites and domain registrars and whatever else the I.T. department wants to shove in our faces making it clear we are inferior, WE'RE UP AND RUNNING! 

Here at NY Up and Coming, we plan to be your go-to for indie/electronic/whateverelsewefeellike music. If it's good then trust me, at least one of the authors here has heard it, memorized it, and recorded a cover. At the same time, we plan on bringing you the latest style trends/topics for BOTH men and women. I find that guys in New York have no where else to turn for opinions other than GQ and the Sartorialist (though I am impressed with Scott Schuman). But let's be honest, I can only buy so many bowties & tweed.    And women, don't you fret! There will soon be more than enough content for you to dress/undress for the job.
